Nicholas family era
At least since the time of “Nicholas” ownership, the hotel was renowned for its fine silver service dining. During this time also, the famous leadlight Kookaburra windows were commissioned by Jack Nicholas to set an art deco theme amongst a Victorian setting, attracting much debate!
