Built in 1857 during Victoria’s fascinating gold-rush era and nearly 150 years old, the Hotel Nicholas is one of Beechworth’s first hotels.

The Hotel Nicholas is a major landmark in the heart of town, situated in Camp Street and adjacent to Beechworth’s historic precinct.   In recent years, tasteful renovations and a major refurbishment has breathed life back into this historic old pub.
